Client Account Services Manager

Candidates must be able to work independently within a group environment. Challenges involve cleaning up historical financial records and tracking time by the client. QuickBooks (both desktop and online) are heavily used in addition to other software. Qualified applicants will have QuickBooks knowledge with a strong understanding of full general ledger accounting, including accounts payable, construction in process, bank reconciliations, payroll, reconciliations between multiple entities, and sales tax.

Job Description

  • Manage the engagement and deliverables for multiple clients
  • Manage month-end close, including entering journal entries
  • Handle balance sheet reconciliations
  • Provide Fractional CFO services to clients
  • Review financial transactions and financial statements
  • Identify and resolve technical issues
  • Encourage growth in technology
  • Travel to client offices as needed
  • Manage and Review staff
  • Provide training for staff

Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or similar and minimum 7 years of related experience
  • Strong computer skills, including working knowledge of QuickBooks Online and Microsoft software
  • Must be highly organized and capable of managing multiple tasks in a complex, dynamic environment
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving ability

Beneficial Experience

  • Public Accounting experience
  • Knowledge of CCH products – Axcess and Engagement
  • CPA preferred, but not required
