As a Staff Tax Accountant, your primary responsibilities will include preparing tax returns, analyzing tax regulations, monitoring industry trends, and completing tax reports.
Job Description
- Prepare federal and state income tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, estates, and other tax returns
- Research accounting and tax issues, discrepancies, and irregularities
- Assist with tax planning
- Communicate with clients to meet multiple filing deadlines
- Assist the Accounting team with financials, accounting, & reconciliations
- Special projects as needed
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Experience with Intuit QuickBooks preferred
- Knowledge of GAAP accounting and Tax laws
- Excellent communication skills – both written and oral
