As an Entry-Level Audit Staff member, you will play a critical role in assisting with the audit process, gaining valuable experience in financial analysis, risk assessment, and compliance testing. Key Responsibilities
Audit Engagement Support:
- Assist in planning and executing audit engagements under the guidance of senior team members.
- Conduct preliminary risk assessments and gain an understanding of client operations and internal controls.
- Perform substantive testing procedures to evaluate the accuracy of financial statements.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare audit workpapers, documenting audit procedures, findings, and conclusions.

Compliance and Regulation:
- Stay updated on relevant auditing standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Ensure audit processes and documentation adhere to professional standards and firm policies.
Client Interaction:
- Establish and maintain positive client relationships through effective communication and professionalism.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and ensure the successful completion of audit engagements.
- Seek guidance and mentorship from senior team members to enhance skills and knowledge
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in business administration, accounting, or related field
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or working toward licensure
- 1-3 years experience within a CPA firm
- Exceptional client service with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships is expected
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
- Strong knowledge and experience using MS Office, Wolter Kluwer CCH Axcess Programs, Checkpoint, and other audit tools necessary to meet roles, goals, and objectives
