As an Entry-Level Audit Staff member, you will play a critical role in assisting with the audit process, gaining valuable experience in financial analysis, risk assessment, and compliance testing. You will work closely with experienced professionals, receive training, and have opportunities for career development within our firm. 

Key Responsibilities

Audit Engagement Support: 

  • Assist in planning and executing audit engagements under the guidance of senior team members. 
  • Conduct preliminary risk assessments and gain an understanding of client operations and internal controls. 
  • Perform substantive testing procedures to evaluate the accuracy of financial statements. 

Documentation and Reporting: 

  • Prepare audit workpapers, documenting audit procedures, findings, and conclusions. 
  • Assist in drafting audit reports and communicating results to

Compliance and Regulation: 

  • Stay updated on relevant auditing standards, regulations, and industry best practices. 
  • Ensure audit processes and documentation adhere to professional standards and firm policies. 

Client Interaction: 

  • Establish and maintain positive client relationships through effective communication and professionalism. 

Team Collaboration: 

  • Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and ensure the successful completion of audit engagements. 
  • Seek guidance and mentorship from senior team members to enhance skills and knowledge

Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in business administration, accounting, or related field 
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or working toward licensure 
  • 1-3 years experience within a CPA firm 
  • Exceptional client service with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships is expected 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy 
  • Strong knowledge and experience using MS Office, Wolter Kluwer CCH Axcess Programs, Checkpoint, and other audit tools necessary to meet roles, goals, and objectives
