Annie Fairchild, CPA

Annie Fairchild, CPA

In 2001, Annie’s largest client with over $100 million in revenue, and over 100 entities, brought her on to work exclusively with his companies. In 2007, Annie returned to public practice as the Tax Director for a small local firm in the Dallas area, overseeing the tax compliance and strategies for over 500 companies/individuals. In 2009, Annie founded AFairchild CPA to carry on the practice she first initiated in 1992. Her expertise lies in providing tax consulting and compliance to businesses, as well as structural and transactional consulting, from start-ups to well-established businesses.
Annie has been married to her husband, Brad, since 1986, and they have four beautiful daughters. She enjoys camping and crafts, as well as spending time with her family and her church.
Ginger Roper

Ginger Roper
Partner, CFO, CAS Director
Ginger Roper brings over 20 years of extensive experience to AFairchild. She has worked with companies as a fractional CFO to develop and implement financial systems, strategies, processes and controls to improve clients’ operations and financials. Ginger is dedicated to achieving clients’ financial needs through a variety of services, including applying technical expertise to ensure compliance with and efficient application of GAAP, analyzing and creating a system of internal controls, review of payroll and sales tax laws and compliance, and the preparation of timely financials statements. She also assists clients with their banking relationships to obtain financing as well as work with client vendors. She has consulted with a wide variety of clients, including retail, restaurants, commercial and private real estate developers, professional services, information technology service providers, manufacturing and distributing operations, and nonprofits.
Ginger received her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from The University of Texas at Arlington. She is a native Texan and lives in Plano, Texas with her husband of 26 years. She enjoys tailgating for Texas A&M home games to visit her three children, cruising the country side in one of their antique cars, and is an active member of her church.

As the Tax Director at AFairchild CPA, Troy is attentive and creative in working with clients. Troy has over 10 years of experience in the financial arena, consulting with clients and strategizing on structure and tax impact. Troy received his bachelor’s degree in accounting in 2013, along with graduate-level classes at UT Dallas, to contribute to his CPA license. He is also an active member of the professional network of the Texas Society of CPA’s.
Troy has been married since 2020 and enjoys spending time with his wife, traveling, and power lifting.

Nicholas Wolpert is a distinguished financial professional with an impressive track record spanning over two decades. Specializing in tax and accounting services for both individuals and small businesses, Nicholas has solidified his position as a trusted advisor.
A graduate with a Master of Business Administration and an Economics Degree from The University of Dallas, Nicholas possesses a robust educational foundation in business and economics. Nicholas is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Texas Society of CPAs.
Nicholas’s entrepreneurial spirit sets him apart from his peers. Post-graduation, he co-founded a textile manufacturing company, followed by the establishment of a mergers & acquisition firm and a successful multi-store dry cleaning operation. In 2012, Nicholas co-founded a CPA firm, where his focus has been on providing public accounting services. His specialization lies in offering tailored solutions for small and medium-sized businesses, addressing their unique accounting and tax needs.
What distinguishes Nicholas is not only his technical proficiency but also his unwavering commitment to client care. Beyond delivering exceptional accounting and tax services, he actively engages in listening to clients’ concerns, showcasing a personalized and empathetic approach to building enduring client relationships.
Sheri Headrick, CPA

Sheri Headrick, CPA

Sheri received her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Oklahoma State University. She has spent more than 20 years in public accounting in the Dallas area and specializes in tax planning and compliance for business owners. With expertise in a variety of industries including professional services, oil and gas, manufacturing, retail, and construction, Sheri provides her clients with exceptional insight and professionalism.
Her background also includes hands-on entrepreneurial services for venture-backed and family-owned businesses including review of internal management reports and statements, multi-state and local taxes, and property tax matters. She holds a CPA license in Texas and is a member of the AICPA.
A native Texan, Sheri lives in Frisco, Texas and has two children. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, reading, and traveling.

Dennis received his Bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma Panhandle State University in December 1996. He has spent 23 years in public accounting in the Dallas area, and joined AFairchild CPA in 2014. His primary disciplines include tax compliance and consulting for corporations, partnerships, and individuals for federal and state purposes. Dennis has substantial experience in the areas of partnership taxation, private equity, real estate, manufacturing distribution, food service, and high net wealth individuals. He is also a member of the National Association of Enrolled Agents.
Dennis has been married to his wife Jennifer since 2008 and has one son Aaron. In his spare time, Dennis enjoys snow skiing, biking, shooting, listening to music, and is an active member Bent Tree Bible Fellowship.

Wendy is more than qualified to be a CPA at AFairchild with more than 30 years in accounting experience. As our Client Accounting Services Senior Manager, Wendy is skilled in serving our client's needs, keeping up with new technologies, and training our staff. She received her degree in Accounting from UT Arlington.
Wendy loves to spend time with grandchildren and husband of 34 years in her free time. She is also an avid reader, always seeking to improve herself from reading management and business books to Christian self-help books. When she is not staying active with her grandchildren, she enjoys knitting and crocheting.

Donna Jones, AFairchild’s Director of the Partner Community Office, implements and facilitates partners' transition into the PCO program. Donna is a native of Louisiana with over 30 years of Office Management experience. Her extensive knowledge of office procedures and implementation technology has effectively allowed her to maintain the organization's infrastructure successfully. As a graduate of Davenport University in Grand Rapids, Michigan, she earned an Associate of Applied Science in Business Management and Processes. She continued her education at the Art Institute of Houston, studying Multimedia and Web Design.
Donna and her husband, Phil, reside in Dallas, TX. They enjoy traveling, video games, and cooking classic Louisiana recipes.

Larry is a seasoned vocational pastor with 30+ years of ministry experience. He holds a Master of Science in Christian Education from Abilene Christian University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Lubbock Christian University. As the Director of Client Engagement and Resources, Larry’s passion lies in connecting with people, helping them achieve their goals, and fostering meaningful relationships.
He’s been happily married for 35 years, has two happily married sons with two precious grandchildren, enjoys spending quality time with his family, tending to his property, and attending shows and musicals with his wife. His goal is to continue leading leaders and collaborating within a team to accomplish significant kingdom and community objectives.

Caleb is an experienced Tax Director with 18 years in public accounting, specializing in taxation, real estate, and healthcare services. He holds a BS in Accounting from Oklahoma Christian University and is a licensed CPA in Oklahoma and Texas, proudly affiliated with the AICPA.
In his five years of marriage, Caleb enjoys watching movies, walking his two dogs, playing games, and mastering the art of pickleball in his free time.

Karen Smelcer is the Audit Director at AFairchild CPA. With 38 years of experience, Karen has extensive public accounting experience across multiple industries, including audit, tax, and financial reporting. She graduated from Trinity University with a Bachelor’s degree in business with a focus in accounting. Soon after, she received her CPA license in the states of Texas and North Carolina. Karen enjoys helping people by assisting clients in the growth of their businesses and staying on top of research.
Karen has been married for thirty-eight years and has two children and four grandchildren. In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis, walking and simply being outside with her family.

As our CAS Manager, Stephanie has worked at AFairchild since 2022 and has been in the accounting profession since 2007. She received her Bachelor’s in Accounting from the University of Louisiana at Monroe and her Master’s in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame. Soon after, she received her CPA license and began working in corporate accounting. Along with her experience in the corporate world, Stephanie worked in public accounting with small accounting firms for six years. Her versatile experience has led her to discover her passion for working with small businesses. She enjoys helping small and family businesses make their ideas come to life and believes they are valuable to our economy. Stephanie is motivated to bring success to her clients by using her detail-oriented skills and staying up to date with new research and legislation.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her 4 kids and husband of 15 years. She also enjoys cooking the delicious food she has made from her garden.

Ricardo is the Client Accounting Services Technology Manager at AFairchild, LLC. He has been with us since 2019 and has only added more value to the company. Ricardo does not only work at AFairchild, but he goes above and beyond by taking the time to explain difficult concepts to clients, describing the effects of certain decisions, and communicating the processes and procedures being done for clients. Ricardo excels in researching new processes, general planning, and utilizing new technologies. He graduated from Texas A&M University at Commerce with a Bachelor of Business in Accounting and Finance and is experienced in working with commercial and rental investment properties.
In his free time, Ricardo prioritizes staying connected with his family and friends by taking them out to lunch or simply spending quality time together. He recently joined the archery club in town and every now and then enjoys sitting down to read a good book.

Our Accounting Manager, DeAnn Huegele, has vast experience in bookkeeping and accounting. Her ambition has empowered her to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in Finance and a Master’s in Business Administration from Stephen F Austin State University followed by a Master in Accountancy from Texas A&M and a CPA certification by the end of 2024. DeAnn’s passion for helping people along with her hard work ethic has led to about 10 years of quality accounting work and satisfied clients.
DeAnn enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter at the lake or camping. When she has the time, she appreciates reading a quality book.

Denise Villarreal brings over 30 years of experience to the firm as a Certified Public Accountant. After earning her BBA degree in Accounting from Texas Christian University, she started her career in public accounting at a large, regional firm in Fort Worth. She served a variety of clients with a focus on audit where she advanced quickly. From there, Denise moved into corporate financial accounting after accepting an offer from one of the firm’s clients for their Controller position. While in the corporate setting, Denise developed a love for leading and mentoring her teams. She has held leadership roles in accounting and finance for several successful and growing companies, both public and private equity backed, where she was responsible for providing the accurate and timely financial information necessary for companies to achieve their business goals. During this time, she also developed a passion for process improvements and project work like accounting system implementations.
Some industries Denise served in include manufacturing and distribution, retail, commercial real estate, commercial restoration, data technology, and non-profit organizations.
Denise and her husband, Blas, both come from large families and their own blended family includes 5 adult children and 5 grandchildren. They enjoy being active members of their church, spending time with family and friends, working out at fitness classes where they have been long-time studio members, watching TCU sports, cooking family recipes, and gardening. Denise is a member of the Texas Society of CPAs, and is an active member of DGroup International, a weekly discipleship and bible study group. She loves reading, traveling, and trying to improve her baking and cooking abilities! Her Lebanese roots have instilled a love of eating and preparing Mediterranean foods, and being married to Blas has enhanced her love of Mexican foods, as he prepares delicious fajitas, tacos, and tostados!

Since 2020, Jasmine has been diligently working at AFairchild CPA. As Tax Manager, she is skilled in cost segregations and tax accounting specializing in tax credits. Jasmine enjoys breaking down complicated accounting concepts in way that is easily understood by her clients. She not only helps people with their finances, but educates people on how to make the best decisions for their business in the most efficient manner. Jasmine graduated with a Bachelor of Science concentrating in Accounting, Math, Criminal Justice, and Business Administration from the University of North Texas and has been in the accounting profession since 2017.
Jasmine’s favorite activity is traveling and has a goal to visit a new country each year. When not on the road, Jasmine can be found at home cuddled up with her two adorable fur babies – Teddy and Sophia.

Kristi Coffey has been in the field of Tax and Accountancy for 28 years. She graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting and received her CPA license soon after. Since then, she has tax experience with individuals, businesses, fiduciary, non-profits, and she was a partner in her own CPA firm for seven years before joining AFairchild. Kristi enjoys helping people and businesses with their tax obligations and their understanding of tax so that they can be empowered to succeed with their finances.
In her free time, Kristi enjoys exercising in her Zumba class and hiking with her husband. She also enjoys visiting her adult children in Texas when she can.

Our Tax Manager, Debra, has been working with AFairchild CPA since 2018. She received her Bachelor’s Degree of Accountancy from Oklahoma Baptist University in 2017 and has been growing in her tax and accounting skills ever since. Debra’s experience has allowed her to gain skills in both the accounting and tax departments. She is an expert in sales tax setup, audits, and research over a variety of states; financial analysis; 990s and nonprofits; and state and federal tax returns. Debra enjoys helping people understand their business in a way that will make them succeed not only professionally, but also with their personal goals. She finds researching difficult federal, Texas franchise, and sales tax laws interesting and uses that skill to put her clients on the path to success.
Debra enjoys spending her free time on the beach with her family, which includes her husband and their two dogs. She also enjoys cooking with her husband, hanging out with friends, and volunteering at the local church.

Ryan Estrada is our Senior Audit Manager, bringing over 9 years of extensive experience in public accounting, with a focus on audit work. He has worked with a diverse range of clients, including non-profit organizations, construction companies, benefit plans, and privately held businesses. Ryan holds a BBA in Accounting from the University of Texas at Arlington and has gained valuable experience at various accounting firms, including one of the Big Four. His passion lies in working closely with clients, providing guidance on best practices to help their businesses thrive.
Outside of work, Ryan enjoys spending time with his family, staying active through working out and running, and indulging in reading and watching sports.

Suyee started working at AFairchild in 2019 soon after graduating from Dallas Baptist University with a master’s in business administration concentrated in accounting. Soon after Suyee joined AFairchild, she joined the audit team and quickly proved herself to be an ideal Audit Manager. Her analytical and problem-solving skills are needed to examine business financials to determine problems and seek solutions. Suyee is skilled in audit, review, compilation, and she has experience with non-profit organizations, construction companies, manufacturing industries, HOA, EBP, and many more. Suyee enjoys learning about new aspects of her profession and is not afraid to try new things in order to help her clients succeed.
In her free time, Suyee enjoys spending time with her husband traveling. She also enjoys working in her garden and making delicious meals for her family.
